How To Wear Clashing Colours?

Bright colours aren't for everyone and to be honest its pretty rare for me but if you don't try you'll never know! I've always thought red suits my skin tone and more recently have taken a liking to pale or dusty pinks. Although these colours can very easily clash (in a bad way), putting the right tones together seems to work!

When wearing two bright colours together I would always tone one of them down. Making the two colours compliment each other rather than fight against each other. For example here I have chosen a relatively pale pink to work with a bright bold red. Choosing a fuchsia pink would change the look completely. I'd apply the same rule to any colour combo and see what works from there.

For those who aren't quite ready to go the whole way with a colour clash outfit you could easily use accessories instead. Say you're wearing blue jeans and a pink jumper, why not try adding some read earrings or maybe a red bum bag? Colour clashing doesn't have to be in your face, subtle works just as well!
