H&M Neutrals your Winter Wardrobe Needs

I’m obsessing over neutrals at the moment and H&M have got some great wardrobe staples. Just because you like wearing plain colours doesn’t mean your outfit has to be boring! Try layering up a few different tones and maybe add some print in there to break up your outfit. Tonal dressing can be tricky but i’ve got a few points to consider to help you build that dream outfit.

  1. Tonal Textures

Finding items with different textures is a really good way to add depth and interest to your outfit. Try mixing super chunky knitwear with simple cotton trousers. Or a silky slip dress with a knitted Cardigan? Adding texture if a great way to differentiate your outfit even if the items are the same colour.

2. Don’t be afraid of prints

Printed items are your best friend when it comes to tonal dressing. And you are in luck because there is some fantastic prints seriously trending right now.

Check Print

Checks are great for nurtural looks and very on trend at the moment. Checked coats, jackets and trousers will really help you with your neutral layering.

Animal Print

Snake print, leopard print, zebra print, you name it, animal print is all over the high street and again is a great print to add to your tonal outfits. Try a leopard print skirt with a cute tonal jumper?

3. Same Colour but Different

It is really important that when your mixing tonal colours together that you aren’t wearing two products that are the exact same colour. Try beige and cream rather than beige and beige.
